What are two weaknesses in the buy local argument?

items bough local are not 100% local for example if you buy honey from Colorado the farmer will have to take the honey to the market therefore spend gas.(money left the local economy)since we dont have oil wells on the valley or refineries.After watching the video are you still going to make an effort to buy local on occasion?  Why or why not?

i have never try to buy local because i am vegetarian/vegan and alot of the product i consume we do not produce it locally.

What economic strengths of buy local are not mentioned in the video?

the advantage of buying local would be fresher product and probably help the environment since goods does not have to be move long distances to reach the store.

From the perspective of Colorado, is trade with Wyoming different from trade with China? Why or why not? Keep in mind that Colorado doesn’t trade with Wyoming or China.  Individuals in Colorado purchase items produced in Wyoming (coal probably :-)) and in China (maybe a t-shirt).

trading from a far away country or a state next door benefits either way. china can produce items we can not and we produce items they can not. also even if it is next door we can still specialize on a product and make sure is a win win deal.

As mentioned above i had a previews knowledge about this chapter before reading this chapter.
